Christopher D. Mickus represents the firm’s clients in litigation, arbitration and other forms of dispute resolution throughout the country. One client recently stated that he has “no greater faith in anyone else’s answer to almost any question related to law, business or otherwise,” and that Christopher is “uniquely valuable because of his genuine interest in helping his clients reach their ultimate business objectives.” Christopher’s experience includes cases alleging of breach of contract and fiduciary duty, fraud, trade secret violations, computer fraud and abuse, copyright, patent and trade dress infringement, license-related disputes, professional negligence, insurance coverage, tax disputes and other business torts. He also advises clients with respect to advertising and marketing material. Christopher has represented and been adverse to Fortune 100 companies in high-stakes engagements and has conducted multi-week trials in federal court.
Christopher is actively involved with the firm’s continued use and development of project management techniques for litigation matters and was a panelist at the Practicing Law Institute’s first program on legal project management in 2011.
While in law school, Christopher was a member of The John Marshall Law Review.
Pro Bono and Activities:
- Christopher has an active pro bono practice which includes the representation of One Heartland, Inc., a non-profit organization serving families and individuals living with HIV/AIDS and dealing with other significant life challenges.
- Christopher is a member of the Board of Directors of One Heartland, Inc. and Intercultural Montessori Language School in Oak Park, Illinois.
- Adjunct Faculty Member at The John Marshall Law School, Deposition Practicum (2010-Present).
