Andrew’s experience in the courtroom is both extensive and wide-ranging. Andrew has been a member of several successful trial and arbitration teams, has argued and won appeals, and has a strong track record of dismissing claims at the preliminary stages of litigation. In recognition of his achievements, the Chicago Daily Law Bulletin named Andrew one of the top “40 Under 40 Attorneys to Watch” in 2020. Andrew’s clients and colleagues have described him as “gifted intellectually, with an ever-present articulateness and a comfortable confidence in his own abilities,” a “master of his craft, laser-focused on the client’s objective,” and a skilled practitioner who “represents the very best of our profession.”

Andrew’s dynamic skill set and subject-matter expertise have afforded him a rare fluency in many areas of the law, including breach of contract claims, business torts, fraud, class action defense, partnership and shareholder disputes, defamation, False Claims Act cases, and high-exposure products and personal injury suits. In addition, Andrew has extensive experience counseling and representing corporate policyholders in a wide range of insurance coverage disputes. Outside the courtroom, Andrew serves as a counselor and trusted adviser to numerous clients, providing day-to-day advice, often with the support of the firm’s other practice groups, on a variety of legal matters.

The clients Andrew represents range from publicly traded companies to startups. Regardless of the type of case or the type of client, Andrew stands ready to develop creative and aggressive strategies to achieve the best possible outcome – whether through prevailing on the merits or settling on favorable terms.

Andrew believes strongly in the importance of doing pro bono work and giving back to the community. In 2021, Andrew received the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois’s Excellence in Pro Bono Service Award. In 2020, Andrew was honored as an “access to justice champion” by Justice Mary K. Rochford, Chair of the Illinois Supreme Court Commission on Access to Justice.
